The School hosted a 2-day mega-event called Net Champs -Quiz on Net Safety in collaboration with Hindustan Times and Connect Broadband where students from across the tricity participated. The event saw almost 100 enthusiastic computer savvy students. The first day of the event got a kick-start with the prelims conducted for classes VI and VII where the students gave a written test and then the final round of the quiz took place in the school auditorium. The junior computer wizards gave answers to a plethora of questions showcasing their skills in the field of computer and technology.

CHAITYA JAIN  from Class VI and YAJUR SHARMA from Class VII  from Bhavan Vidyalaya,bagged the first position.



They have successfully been able to reach the inter-city round. Students from Smart Wonders School stood as the runners-up.

The second day observed a tough competition in the field of computers between classes VIII and IX. Students actively participated in the prelims by giving their best in the written test consisting of 20 questions completely based on their knowledge about computers. 5 teams from Category- A competed first.Students from DPS, Chandigarh bagged the first position in Category- A.



Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula bagged the second position in the same category. Then teams from Category- B participated in the final round. Students from DAV, Sector 8 proved their mettle by securing the first position. Hansraj Public School bagged the second position in the respective category. The two finalists will be competing in the inter-city round in July.

The Principal of the school Dr. (Smt.) Shashi Banerjee appreciated the efforts and hard-work of the students and encouraged them to display a wonderful performance in the field of computers in the near future as well.
