The students of Ankuran Block comprising of classes LKG and UKG of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sec-15, Panchkula exhibited their extraordinary talent through annual ‘Songs and Rhyme day’ in the school auditorium based on the theme ‘ Water’ . The function was presided over by Sh. Kulwant Singh ji, Chairman, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, retired, IAS, Chief Secretary, Haryana. The members of the management committee also graced the event. The school encourages 100% participation and around 330 students from Ankuran block showcased a brilliant performance. The students learnt the importance of precious liquid on earth i.e water and also promised to save every drop of water for future generation. The complete program was conducted by the students and each one participated confidently and enthusiastically. The program was initiated by invocation to God with ‘blissful chants’. Uses and sources of water, importance of water in our daily and farmer’s life were depicted through various skits. Students also learnt about water cycle and enriched their vocabulary related to water. Mesmerizing dance performances ‘ Jal Utsav’, ‘Move and Groove Together’ and also songs ‘Water Notes’ and ‘Yeh Paani’ left the audience spellbound. The little gems showcased their physical fitness with yogic exercises and skating. Their performance enthralled the audience. The school management and Principal Dr. Ms. Shashi Banerjee appreciated and encouraged the young bhavanites . The audience applauded the little gems for their outstanding performance.
