Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula hosted its two days eco-friendly fest titled “Utsav Mela”


Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 15, Panchkula hosted its two days eco-friendly fest titled ‘Utsav Mela’ in the school ground on Saturday, 15th October 2016.
The event started with ribbon cutting ceremony by the chief guest Smt. Amar Kulwant Kaur Ji, a renowned social worker.
The event was a whole day affair with students, parents and other people coming from all around to have a gala time.
The main highlights were the various stalls set up by the students and teachers of the school under the great direction, valuable guidance and supervision of the Principal Dr.(Smt.) Shashi Banerjee.
DSC_0124The fest included stalls depicting beautiful and attractive household things and handmade jewellery (terracotta jewellery). There were other stalls also like paper quilling, flowers, ethnic work and many more. Each stall had its unique feature. A variety of art work and painting was also one of the attractions of the day. The display of traditional and modern jewellery enriched the beauty of the fest. Meditation and Melody centres served the purpose of making people happy, contented and entertained. There were stalls of scrumptious food and other eatables.
Paper recycling plant played a vital role in making things worth and eco-friendly.
Keeping in view the preferences of people from eatables to entertainment and from primitive to modern trend this fest was organised.
All in all the event was splendid one with lots of excitement, involvement and zeal associated with it.
