Time came to a standstill as the entire Bhavan fraternity was engrossed in reading commemorating the ‘World Book Day’ as a part of ‘Whole School Read Together’ activity. In an ambiance of complete silence and serenity, all the students, teachers and staff members devoted half an hour reading books, articles or journals of their choice.
This day is celebrated worldwide since 1995 on 23rd April by UNESCO to commemorate the birth and death anniversaries of various eminent authors.

The School Principal Dr. (Smt.) Shashi Banerjee encouraged the students to make reading a habit as it empowers holistic development.
